Oak Tasmania operates 5 Business Services from 4 sites in Southern Tasmania.  These services employ 152 supported employees and 41 Support staff in full and part time positions.
Each business service provides a supportive work environment where workers gain vocational skills and enhance their lives through community involvement.

The divisions are Oakdale Industries, Walkabout Industries, Mailhouse Tasmania & Oak Sewing Services and Tahune Fields.

Oakdale Industries

Oakdale Industries is a division of Oak Tasmania, which specialises in the processing and machining of timber. More

 

 

 

Walkabout Industries

The three main business activities at Walkabout Industries are paper recycling & document destruction, potting soil production and solvents decanting and packaging. More

Mailhouse Tasmania

Mailhouse Tasmania specialises in bulk mailing services for government and the private sector, providing intelligent and manual processing of a wide range of items for direct delivery, and transmission through Australia Post, including regular mail, print post, advertising mail, bulk pre-sorted mail and bar-coding. Tahune Fields

Tahune Fields is a commercial apple and stone fruit tree nursery supplying interstate orchardists with tree varieties to order.  Trees are sold into areas ranging from Lenswood in South Australia, through Victoria and New South Wales to Stanthorpe in Queensland. More
