(Accommodation Support Services) Support Workers

Lifestyle Support Workers provide assistance to people with intellectual and multiple disabilities in their own homes and communities, with a focus on assisting individuals:

  • With daily living activities
  • To achieve their goals
  • To access and participate in the community

To be a Lifestyle Support Worker, you must be able to work as part of a 7 day roster, including evening, sleepover and weekend shifts (additional allowances and loadings apply), excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a current drivers licence & car, first aid certificate (or a willingness to obtain one) and the ability to be a team player. Experience providing personal care is desirable.

Lifestyle Choices (Day Options) Support Worker

Day Options Support Workers provide direct support, focusing on Monday to Friday during business hours, to people with disability within our Day Options programme. Day Options support workers assist people with intellectual and multiple disabilities to;

  • Increase their skills
  • Discover new abilities
  • Achieve their goals
  • Access and participate in the community

To be a Day Options Support Worker, you must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a car & current drivers licence, first aid certificate (or a willingness to obtain one) and the ability to be a team player are essential.  Previous related experience is desirable as is experience providing personal care.
