The mixer will allow Walkabout Industries to meet increased demand for its’ potting mix, which is sold through a number of local and national retailers. “We have seen an eight per cent increase in demand for our potting mix that is available in premium and regular varieties,” said Craig Geeves, Divisional Manager of Walkabout Industries. “Our potting soils are produced from Tasmanian sourced ingredients where possible, and the individual elements are combined, mixed and packaged on site to Australian Standard AS 3743.” Mr Geeves is quick to point out that meeting the increased demand is due to the efforts of Walkabout Industries’ dedicated workforce.
